Thanks For Voting!
As many of you will be aware (due to our recent bombardment of Facebook Posts and Tweets!) we were recently in a competition to win a £250,000 house, thanks to Persimmon Homes 40th Anniversary celebrations.
All the help and support surrounding the competition really has been thoroughly appreciated, and your vote alone could have made all the difference!
The results will be announced on Thursday 27th September, so we are all waiting with fingers crossed!
Being up against 23 other charities from all over the UK was obviously going to make the competition a challenge, but as the only West Yorkshire charity in the competition, we knew that we had something behind us that no other charity could rely on – Yorkshire Pride!
Just like with the Olympics, we are hoping that once again Yorkshire can steal the show, and thanks to your support over the past two months, we believe (touch wood) we could be in with a good chance!
