A Wonderful Competition
The results have been announced for the Persimmon Homes Competition and we have received a £6000 runner-up prize!
The support we received whilst seeking votes was absolutely extraordinary, and it really is humbling to see everyone get behind us and help spread the word.
The Harley Staples Cancer Trust was the charity which won the £250,000 house, and is a wonderful charity from Leicester who provides help and care to children and their families affected by cancer.
Our sincerest congratulations go out to them and we truly hope it will go a long way in such a worthy cause.
As if by fate, minutes after the results were announced, a parcel was delivered to the hospice, really summing up the community spirit which got behind our bid.
The parcel was a large print of the Thank You Collage (kindly donated by North light Studios) and immediately made us remember the great backing we received.
So that is that! Thank you again everyone who voted, posted, tweeted and everything else to help us, with all of your brilliant support, we always feel like winners.
