Look after the future of your loved ones... and leave a gift to Forget Me Not Children's Hospice
The Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice is working with its partner solicitors Bailey Smailes, Baxter Caulfield, Brearleys, Chadwick Lawrence and Ramsdens to give you, our supporters, a free simple will* to secure the future of your loved ones. In return, we hope that you’ll consider leaving us the gift of a legacy for children and families in West Yorkshire.
Writing a Will
Writing a Will is the only way to ensure that what you leave behind is distributed according to your wishes. However only around 50% of people aged over 40 have a Will.
Why do I need a Will?
Having a Will enables you the peace of mind of knowing that you are safeguarding the future of your loved ones, ensuring you that your final wishes will be seen to.
Once you have provided for those closest to you, we would be very grateful if you would consider leaving a gift to Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice too.
Our Free Simple Will* won’t cost you anything
We say that the Simple Will is free because that is exactly what it is. Our supporters are offered the opportunity to create a Free Simple Will* at one of five Solicitors who have agreed to support our Legacies Campaign (see bottom of page for Solicitors) which will be kindly funded by a supporter of our charity, meaning the Free Simple Will* won’t cost you a penny to create. All we ask is that you consider the option of leaving a gift to support the work Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice does.
When leaving a Gift in a Will, it will be exempt from Inheritance Tax, meaning the charity will receive the full value of the gift you have given.
A gift left in a Will (a legacy) will support us in being able to carry on providing the exceptional care we offer to children and families across West Yorkshire. The charity will benefit from the full value of the gift you have given, and you will be helping us to sustain our level of commitment to all of the children and families who need our help.
