How you can help
Whether or not you’ve supported Grace’s Place in the past, we’d love your help now!
We're already caring for local families in their own homes and are working hard to make Grace's Place the welcoming home-from-home that they and many more families need and deserve. The faster we can get the funding in place, the sooner we can open the doors deliver all the other fantastic services we’re planning. So will you help us?
We need to fund a team of outstanding specialist staff. We already have a wonderful building, but we now need nurses, therapists and more to staff it. It’s definitely do-able: we’re very experienced at raising the sums of money needed to run an excellent children’s hospice. If you think you could raise money for us – or organise other people to do it – we want to hear from you.
We’re looking for a team of really special people with huge hearts – and a bit of time to spare – to become regular volunteers. The fantastic thing about Forget Me Not is that we look after our volunteers as well as we look after our employees. We’ll match your role to your skills and interests, for example, and you’ll be involved in discussions about how we grow. Your achievements and loyalty will be rewarded through our recognition programme, and you’ll have the chance to benefit from training and career development. Many Forget Me Not volunteers go on to join us in full-time paid roles.
Tell everyone you know: Grace’s Place is happening! We’re especially keen to hear from you if you know a family who could benefit, or if you’re in healthcare, or if you represent a business that would like to get behind us.
