Your business can help

You and your colleagues could make all the difference to local children with life-shortening conditions

At Forget Me Not, we know how to work with businesses to our mutual benefit. It’s not just about posing with giant cheques: it’s about finding ways to enrich and promote your business while raising much-needed money to improve local children’s lives.

We already run several mutually rewarding programmes from our children’s hospice in Huddersfield, and as Grace’s Place develops we’ll be revealing more and more ways for us to work closely with businesses in North Manchester, too. For now, here’s how you can get started:

Sponsor Grace’s Place

You could sponsor a room or therapy suite at Grace’s Place; playground equipment; even a nurse or a chef, for example. Once our fundraising has really taken off you could sponsor a mass-participation event, and you could eventually sponsor trips and activities for children and their families.

Start fundraising

Hold a bake sale, abseil down your building, have a fancy-dress day, run a marathon, pass round a bucket… whatever lights your candle, we’d love you to fundraise for us! It’s good fun, good for team-building, and good publicity for you.

Get volunteering

Volunteering as colleagues can be a great way to make things happen for us while providing personal and professional opportunities for your staff. It’s a brilliant way to meet your corporate social responsibility objectives.

Make us your charity partner

This is a fantastic way to get right behind us and declare your support for local children with life-shortening conditions. Charity partnerships work both ways – there are loads of opportunities for your business to benefit.
