Your group can help
Whatever it is that brings you together as a group, you could also unite to help us take care of local children
We’ll need to raise an enormous chunk of money every year to ensure that Grace’s Place can take the best possible care of local children and young people with life-shortening conditions. Will your group – whoever you are – help us to fundraise? Here are just a few examples of groups who could help:
Faith groups
Grace’s Place will be caring for children from a diverse mix of backgrounds, so it makes perfect sense to ask for support from a diverse mix of faith groups. Whether you’re part of a church, mosque or temple, we’d love to offer you ideas about how to help.
Round Table, Rotary & Lions Club
We know how generous, hard-working and community-minded groups like Rotary, Round Table and Lions can be. We’d be happy to come and tell you all about Grace’s Place and our plans to transform families’ lives. Just think of the difference you could make.
Scouts & Guides
Young people have big hearts and are always looking for ways to help other young people. And by supporting us, you can also help to meet your challenges! It’s a great way to work towards your fundraising badges and community involvement.
College & university students
We know students can pull off extraordinary things thanks to their smart ideas, sense of fun and bags of energy. So how about a sponsored initiative test, onesie day, 24-hour silence, vintage fashion show, Three Peaks Challenge, chest-wax or head-shave? Or whatever else you can come up with. We love mad ideas, as long as they’re safe!
