School proud to support Forget Me Not

Your school can help

We’re asking primary and secondary schools in North Manchester to get behind Grace’s Place!

We’re a children’s hospice, which means children and young people have a special place in our heart. We love it when schools get behind what we’re doing – which is making life better for children with life-shortening conditions. We also love pupils’ empathy and enthusiasm, so we want to capture it to help other children and young people.

Fundraise for us

Schools usually have loads of amazing ideas for raising money, and plenty of experience doing it. That’s why we’re asking if you can help us improve the lives of children across North Manchester. Whether you hold a bake-off or a Onesie Wednesday, a car-boot event or a second-hand fashion sale, we’d be thrilled to have your support. How about a sponsored read, a sporting challenge, a pyjama day or a talent contest?

Use it as a learning experience!

Fundraising for us can be a great class project because it requires a lot of skills: organisation, administration, communication, teamwork, creative artwork and publicity, to name a few.

Invite us to talk to you

We’re always looking for opportunities to tell people about what we do, and why children’s hospices are so important. If you’d like us to come and do a talk at your school, whether in assembly or lesson time, just ask. It could be in support of a fundraising initiative for us, but it doesn’t have to be!
