The average Bucket Collection raises £500, which is the cost of an overnight stay for a child in our hospice, giving the parents a well-deserved rest.
We are looking for volunteers who strive to be brilliant – it’s not just money that keeps the cogs turning here at Forget Me Not, it’s the time and effort that our fantastic army of volunteers put in that mean we can do what we do.
What will I be doing?
Fundraise with friends, family or even colleagues – something so simple as bucket collecting can make a huge difference to the children & families we care for.
Representing Forget Me Not, you will be bucket collecting at Sainsbury, Heaton;
Tuesday 2nd April 09:30am – 4:30pm (an hour between these times)
Friday 3rd May 13:00pm – 4:30pm (an hour between these times)
Saturday 4th May 09:30am – 4:30pm (an hour between these times)
We will let you know how much was raised; this way you’ll know how much of a difference you’ve made.
Who will show me what to do?
A member of our fantastic Fundraising Team will show you the ropes and give you all the support you need to get the most value from your time.
Do I need any skills/experience?
This role is perfect for those who are organised, self-motivated and good at speaking to people.

All our volunteers are encouraged to attend training and volunteer meetings whenever possible. As a volunteer you will be a representative of Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice. As such we expect you to be well-presented, polite and to give a positive message about the work of the charity.
