Who will show me what to do?
Our fantastic Fundraising Administrator will show you the ropes and give you all the support you need to get the most value from your time.
What will I be doing?
As part of our fundraising we place coin collecting tubs in local businesses and community groups.
You will place new tubs, look after existing tubs and be responsible for counting the money raised. The placing of tubs can be at a time to suit you and you can be responsible for as many as you choose to manage. You will need to record income on a simple sheet and report back to our Fundraising Team at regular intervals.
How many hours will I work?
From a few hours per month to an hour a week – it completely depends how much time you can donate and how many tubs you look after.
This is a flexible role well-suited to volunteers who cannot commit to regular hours
Do I need any skills/experience?
This role is perfect for those who are organised, self-motivated and good at speaking to people.
You will be comfortable with transporting and banking the money collected. You need to be able to travel around the area by car.

All our volunteers are encouraged to attend training and volunteer meetings whenever possible. As a volunteer you will be a representative of Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice. As such we expect you to be well-presented, polite and to give a positive message about the work of the charity.
