Our shops are an essential part of the local community – a place for people not just to donate or shop, but to build careers, volunteer and support our cause. They’re also a vital way for us to share the magic of Forget Me Not far and wide.
Our 13 shops across Kirklees and Calderdale come in all shapes and sizes (you'd be looking after 6 or 7 of them) – some are like little boutiques, others like large furniture stores. We also have an eBay store. We rely on donations from the local community and the support of the hardworking staff and volunteers who process those donations, manage their shops and serve customers.
You’ll lead, motivate and inspire a team of shop managers, helping them deliver sales and maximise profit. You’ll provide support for all aspects of the shop operation, from recruiting and managing volunteers to merchandising, thinking on your feet to come up with innovative ways to get the best from each shop. Because every penny of profit made by our shops helps us care for children and families who desperately need our support.
This hands-on role would make a great next step for an exceptional shop manager with charity or high street experience who's looking to develop - we'll provide a full induction and on the job training.
