Step up to Care – Volunteer to Career information evening
25 September 2024Step up to Care – Volunteer to Career information evening
Interested in a career in healthcare but don’t know where to start? We’re part of the Volunteer to Career project which provides training and support to those considering working in the health and care sector.
By becoming one of our care volunteers, you’ll:
- receive support and dedicated 1:1 mentorship
- boost your CV and get a reference
- gain skills for careers in health and social care
- work towards nationally recognised qualifications
- grow in confidence and make friends.
And you’ll also make a real difference to the children and families we support.
Because, by volunteering your time here at Forget Me Not, you’ll help us to
provide more support to more families who are facing or living with the loss of
their child. Support they can’t get anywhere else.
If you’d like to know more, please come along to our information evening on
25th September where you’ll be able to take a tour of our children’s hospice,
meet members of our care and family support teams and hear from one of
our volunteers.
For an informal chat about our event or these volunteering roles,
please call Carly Tordoff on 07500 766297.
