Suma Ltd
Suma is a worker cooperative established in 1977. The business is wholly owned and run by its workers. The unique thing being that all workers are paid the same hourly rate regardless of the job they are doing.
We are a natural grocery wholesaler, located near Halifax in West Yorkshire. From here we serve both the UK and export market with a range that extends to around 7000 lines. We stock Fairtrade, as well as organic products, and a huge range of healthy foods as well. We even produce and distribute environmentally friendly cleaning products, and recycled toilet rolls.
