Could you help us steer our course at a critical time in our development? We’re looking for people with IT or HR expertise to join our Board of Trustees and support us in becoming the leading light in children's hospice care.
Trustees provide Forget Me Not with vital skills, expertise, experience and commitment essential to the effective management and future development of the charity. They are the guardians of everything we do, directing the strategy, overseeing our finances and ensuring the organisation stays within the law and act as culture shapers as well as custodians and role models of our values.
It is also important to us that our Board is truly reflective of the families we serve, 60% of whom are from ethnic minority communities. Therefore, we would specifically welcome applications from individuals who can help us to build a more diverse board.
Trustees fulfil their duties as volunteers – it’s a great way to give something back and make a real difference to children and families in the local community.
