Will you host a donation bin?
We’ve got loads of lovely donation wheelie-bins looking for homes – and each one represents a goldmine for us!
Installing one (or more) of our charity donation bins at your workplace offers loads of benefits:
- Employees having a clear-out can simply drop items off in the bin at work, and don’t have to make a special trip to a charity shop (or have it all build up at home)
- Employers can make our bins part of their CSR programme, and also use them for getting rid of unwanted stock or workplace items
- Forget Me Not can sell the donated items in our charity shops, which raise a significant amount of money to fund our ongoing costs.
What can be donated?
Anything and everything, although it’s usually the obvious stuff like clothes and accessories, soft furnishings, books, CDs and DVDs and bric à brac. We’ll take unwanted business stock and office supplies, too. Even clothes with holes are welcome – we can sell them as rags. Every bin-full translates directly into £££ for us!
What about donations which don’t fit?
If you’ve got something rather lovely but large, like a sofa, desk or filing cabinet, let us know and we’ll send one of our funky purple vans round to collect it.
What happens when the bin is full?
Just give us a call and we’ll come whisk the contents away to one of our charity shops.
