Hospice update - Covid-19

All the measures we’ve put into place (PPE, excellent infection control, regular testing of staff, care team vaccinations, mandatory lateral flow tests for all visitors) have meant families have continued to get the support they need – whether that’s in the hospice or in families’ own homes. We continue to follow the measures necessary to keep children and families safe.

Our shops are open and accepting donations - but please do ring ahead before making a special journey with your donations. We ask that you please still wear a face covering and maintain social distance in our shops to keep all of our staff and volunteers safe.

Thank you for all your support.

Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice supports children with life-shortening conditions – plus their families.

We help hundreds of children, and their families, through our Hospice at Home service and at our fantastic purpose-built building - Russell House - in Huddersfield. Our services have been rated as 'outstanding' by the CQC.

Right across West Yorkshire we provide superb nursing care, hydrotherapy, creative therapy, days out, memory making, end of life care, bereavement support and counselling, and much more, all available to the whole family.

We do things differently. If you thought you knew what a hospice was, think again. Prepare to be amazed…

It takes a lot of people to make Forget Me Not possible - from those we care for and our own team to hundreds of volunteers, donors, fundraisers and business supporters.

For our supporters

Ask our ‘Purple Posse’ – there’s nothing more fun or more rewarding than getting stuck in on our behalf.

For care professionals

Having our support can make all the difference to your patient care, as well as to your own CPD.

you can make a difference!

Every year more children are diagnosed with life-shortening conditions and more families are living with loss. With only around 4% of our income coming from government sources, we need the support of the whole community to help us continue to be here for the local families who desperately need our help.
