Furniture collections

We can take furniture and other larger items that you no longer use and re-sell them in our shops to generate income for our charity. For items that are in good condition, this is a great way to recycle your unwanted stuff.

All your items are in good condition, complete and work correctly
Each upholstered item has a fire label attached
The item is easily accessible and can be removed by our driver team safely and easily.

What can’t I donate?

We try to sell everything you generously donate but there are some items we can’t accept for safety or legal reasons:

Electric blankets, fires and heaters
Oil heaters
Sunbeds and tanning equipment
White goods
Large backed televisions
Gas appliances (mains or bottled goods)
Cookers (Gas or Electric) and microwaves
BBQs – unless new
Computer equipment including printers and hard drives
Upholstered furniture, without a fire label and all items donated as sets, blankets, pillows and duvets unless brand new and still in its original packaging
Mattresses unless brand new and still in packaging
Petrol fuelled garden equipment including strimmers, chainsaws and lawnmowers
