Making a difference that lasts a lifetime
For families in West Yorkshire who are facing or living with the loss of their child, Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice not only provides outstanding clinical care – but also a helping hand, listening ear and a place to be together to make the most of every moment. We start with what each family needs, offering them tailored support. We are always looking for new ways to support children and families and in doing so, we make a difference that lasts a lifetime.
This year we need to raise £6 million to fund our services and with only 10% of that coming from the NHS or government, we simply wouldn’t be here without the support of our local community.
Where we've come from
Forget Me Not was created by a mum who didn’t want other families to struggle in the way she had to find support locally for her son.
Where we're going
We never stop looking for new ways to support families – like our pioneering support for pregnant families or those devastated by the sudden and unexpected death of their child.
Why we're here
Too many families in West Yorkshire confronted with the diagnosis that their child has a life-shortening condition or living with the loss of their child, have to do so alone.
