If you show the signs of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) which are;

- a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)

- a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)

- a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

Please do not visit the hospice and you must book a PCR Test & you and anyone you live with should stay home & not have visitors until you get your test results. For further information please visit https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/.

All visitors (families, staff, volunteers, and contractors) will be given a lateral flow Covid test on arrival. This is a throat and nose swab test that takes just 30 minutes to get a result. Anyone receiving a positive result will need to leave the hospice and book a PCR test at a testing centre by calling 111.

Please arrive at the hospice 30 minutes prior to your planned visit to give us time to administer the test and get the results back.
