Miracle Within baby scan clinic to support our families

For families who have received the devastating news that their baby is unlikely to survive the pregnancy, any opportunity to see and record their baby’s movements via a scan becomes even more precious. But a hospital environment isn’t always the best place for families to spend time bonding with their unborn baby. And this, of course, has been made even more difficult during lockdown, with partners and families often prevented from accompanying mum to the scan.

Our partnership with Miracle Within means these families will be offered the chance to have a scan in a private and comfortable setting, able to take their time, relax and make the most of this experience. Miracle Within will also provide a scan for those Forget Me Not families who go on to have a rainbow baby, having lost a baby in the past. 

One of the first of our families to experience a scan at Miracle Within said: “We were so pleased to attend a private ultrasound scan courtesy of Forget Me Not. It was the first time my partner was able to see our baby in months due to the hospital’s Covid restrictions. A rainbow pregnancy is a lot more stressful than we’d imagined and having the option for an additional scan was very helpful. It was a very good experience and Miracle Within was professional, friendly and clean.”
