New partnership opens up exciting adventures for our children and families
Our families can’t always do the fun and adventurous things they might want to do, because of their child’s condition. At Forget Me Not we’re always trying to find ways to give them amazing experiences that they wouldn’t have had otherwise.
That’s why we’re so delighted to have joined forces with inspiresport who already provide thousands of children across the UK with incredible trips and tours.
Their expertise and links with major partners like Manchester City Football Club open up lots of opportunities to create exciting experiences – not just for our children, but for their brothers and sisters, mums and dads too.
Not only that, but the company will also be encouraging its staff to fundraise for us and supporting us with our Around the World campaign involving schools across the region.
Inspiresport CEO Steve Butchart explains: “We have recently opened a new office in Manchester’s Spinningfields and announced the continuation of our exclusive partnership with Man City’s City Football School just before Christmas, so our links with the area are very strong. As our business is all about providing travel and sporting opportunities for young people, it was obvious to us that our charity partner should be a children’s charity.”
“A common theme we hear from our party leaders when they return from trips is that the youngsters have had ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ experiences and created memories which will last forever – this got us thinking about how we might be able to help children with life-shortening illnesses, and their families, experience something similar.”
