The winners of our Kids Summer Art Competition!

Chosen by HRH Princess Beatrice of York from the many brilliant entries we received, their beautiful pictures show our mascot Russell Bear enjoying himself this summer. All our winners’ pictures will be displayed at the hospice and the first prize winning artwork will be turned into a special greetings card.

1st prize winner, Siyona Bhandari, aged 12, created this incredible picture (above) of Russell Bear at the fair. We love all the details, the amazing use of colour and how much fun everyone is having in the picture!

Chloe Bunting, 15, winner of 2nd prize, drew Russell Bear at a wedding – leaving Princess Beatrice wondering whether Chloe’s picture was of her own recent wedding – a video clip that was picked up by numerous national newspapers and even featured in a recent documentary on Beatrice and Eugenie on Channel 5!

And here’s Chloe receiving her prize from Russell Bear himself!

And in third place was Scarlett Moss, aged 10, who drew Russell Bear at the zoo – we love the giraffe and flamingos!

Well done to all our winners and everyone who entered the competition, all of whom received a certificate from Princess Beatrice – which was really kind of her and delighted at least one of our artists: “The certificate has arrived, Evelyn is over the moon, it’s going to be framed on her bedroom wall!”
