Variety Evening set for The Victoria Theatre
Renowned showman Billy Pearce will be returning to Halifax this April as he headlines a Variety Show in aid of Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice at The Victoria Theatre on 29th April.
Britain’s Got Talent finalist Craig Harper, dance-act Studio One, musician Shira and vocal harmony group Klix will join Billy Pearce in what is sure to be a night filled with entertainment and variety from start to finish.
After coming to fame in the 1980’s as a regular on UK television, Yorkshireman Pearce has enjoyed a fine career spanning four-decades in comedy and entertainment.
Studio One School of Dance based in Brighouse are hosting the evening at The Victoria Theatre and shared their excitement in the build up to the event: “Our girls have been rehearsing for the past few months in preparation for the show and are really looking forward to it. We are hoping to do many more of these events in the future as the charity is a very worthy cause ”.
All profits raised from the event will go to Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice who support local children with life shortening conditions and their families in West Yorkshire.
Nicky Fox, Community Fundraiser at the charity added: “We would like to thank Studio One and everyone involved in putting on the Variety Evening with Billy Pearce and Friends this April.
“Billy has been entertaining crowds for years and with the wide range of acts on offer I’m sure it’s going to be a blockbuster of a night.”
Tickets are still available for the show priced at £16 and can be purchased from the Victoria Theatre Box Office by calling 01422 351158 or online at calderdale.gov.uk/victoria.
