You’re invited to our supporter information evening!

Ever wanted to get a bit more involved in supporting Forget Me Not? Perhaps you’ve got some time on your hands you want to put to good use? Or you’re part of a group or club that wants to get onboard? Or you’re just interested in finding out more about what we do and how others support us to do it?

Join us for a mince pie and a sherry at our Information Evening on 5^th December to discover more.

You’ll meet some of our supporters, like the amazing Friends of Forget Me Not who’ve been fundraising for us since before the hospice even existed! In fact, they were instrumental in getting the charity off the ground in the first place, literally! What inspired – and continues to inspire – them to organise events, raise money and inspire others?

You’ll meet some of our volunteers too, those who shake buckets or pack supermarket customers’ bags or make our events happen. And who, by collecting pennies, raise thousands of pounds to help the children and families we care for. Why do they give up their time to help?

You’ll also meet some of our families – the reason we’re all here. What difference do the efforts of our supporters and volunteers make to them?

All of which makes for a very magical evening, don’t you think? Do please come along!
