Look “Who’s” become a Forget Me Not ambassador!

Jodie Whittaker, star of Doctor Who, Broadchurch and the new BBC series Dear England has become our latest charity ambassador!

Born and raised in Skelmanthorpe, Jodie has retained strong links to the area and has spoken openly about the importance of community, compassion and supporting others. Her appointment as ambassador reflects both her local roots and her commitment to using her platform to help make a difference.

Jodie, who made history as the first female Doctor in Doctor Who, will help to raise awareness of and champion the vital care and support we provide to children, young people and their families at some of the most challenging times in their lives.

I’m so proud to have become a charity ambassador for Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice. They do incredible work supporting children and families in the area. As someone who was brought up in Huddersfield, where the hospice is based, I couldn’t be more honoured to join the team and support such a special and invaluable place!

“We’re incredibly honoured to welcome Jodie on board as a charity ambassador. Jodie joins Forget Me Not at a time when demand for children’s hospice care continues to grow, and her involvement will play an important role in raising awareness and support for our work.
