Shooting Stars Cycling Challenge
Join our cycling challenge this Baby Loss Awareness Week and help raise vital funds to support families devastated by the loss of their baby.
A static bike challenge for local gyms, spin classes and our children’s hospice community, together we’re aiming to cycle 4,745 miles during 9th-15th October, in memory of the 4,745 babies who sadly die during pregnancy or shortly after birth each year in the UK.
Whether at participating gyms, at home or here at Russell House, every mile you cycle and pound we raise will help us provide vital midwifery support, counselling and a place for families to spend time with their babies, making precious memories to last a lifetime.
After completing your ride, you can leave a message of support for the families of babies whose lives shone brightly but far too briefly, like shooting stars.
If you’re interested in taking part in this challenge, please contact Gemma Redford at gemma.redford@forgetmenotchild.co.uk or call 01484 411 040.
