Wear comfortable clothing. Most importantly, make sure you have some sensible footwear. We will send you a Forget Me Not t-shirt closer to the event. You will receive full advice on what equipment you need from our third party provider.

Who is your Stalight Trek provider?

We work with OverLimits, previously known as Kuta Outdoors. We have ran events with this company for several years, they use trained mountain leaders and experienced volunteers to support everyone on their treks.

Why should I do the trek with a provider when I could go and do it myself?

There are many benefits to booking and doing the trek with our provider.

  • Advice on what kit you will need
  • Being part of a larger team of people doing the trek together
  • Training advice available
  • Join them for training treks free of charge when registered with a charity place
  • Several years of experience and mountain leaders on their team
  • Health and safety measures with first aiders and check points along the route

What happens on the day?

Once you are registered you will receive full information with timings, what to expect, and everything you need. In the meantime below is a brief overview of what to expect.

Arrive at 4.45pm for the safety briefing, setting off on the trek by 5pm. The trek is usually completed within 5 hours and your finish time will depend on your group’s fitness level, weather and any incidents or first aid administered.

OverLimits will support all participants along the route and first aid administered if required by their team.
