FAQs
How do you sign up to join in the Extra Mile Trial?
To join in, you need to create a Facebook fundraiser page. Click here to complete your registration, and you'll then be taken to Facebook where you will have the option to create
an event - everything will be pre-filled for you. All you need to do then is share and share some more!
You'll also see an option to join our Facebook community for the event, too. It's totally optional, but it can be really motivating to share your journey and progress with others who are also taking part in the Extra Mile Trial. We're also very active
in the community, so if you have any questions at all, a member of team Forget Me Not will be able to give you the answer.
Can I split my miles into chunks?
Of course - we understand life happens and it might not be possible to do your single mile every day. Especially in this weather! As long as you make up your miles and complete at least 29 by the end of February, you're all good.
How do I prove I've done my miles?
You can record them however you like - use an app, or even just mark them off with good old pen and paper. Whatever works for you! We don't ask for proof that you've covered your miles, we trust you to get them done.
What do you get for taking part?
Everyone who takes part will receive a personalised digital certificate at the end of the event. If you raise £100 or more, you'll also get yourself a commemorative medal in the post!
Of course, there's also the feeling that you've helped local children and families by raising much-needed funds for Forget Me Not. Every penny counts.
