We brought the colour back to Huddersfield once again, as our annual Colour Run saw over 900 participants raise over £32,000!
What an amazing day we had on Saturday at Greenhead Park. It was incredible to see so many people having such a fun time, whilst also raising so much money to support local children and families.
It was heart-warming seeing so many people come and show their support – not only the participants, but the spectators, sponsors and passers-by who stopped to get involved too.
So far our colour runners have raised an absolutely fantastic £32,000 – every penny of which will go straight to supporting local children and families. And there’s more still to come in – we know that that number will continue to grow over the next few weeks as people chase up those finals few sponsors.
We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part - there wouldn’t be an event without you! But also a big thanks too to our headline sponsors Charlesworth Family Group, colour station sponsors Elland Round Table, Shepley Spring, Aflex Hose, FMG and Richter Associates. We'd also like to thank Made By Cooper for providing the fantastic medals handed out at the event to all those who took part!
Thanks are also due to Alex from KAL who got our runners warmed up and to photographer Mike Robinson who helped us capture the day. And of course to our wonderful team of staff and volunteers who worked hard to make sure the day was such the success it was!
