Like Alfie’s family who turned to Forget Me Not when Alfie was diagnosed with a complex heart condition before he was born. Now five, he wants to be playing football and generally getting up to mischief but sadly, his condition means he can’t run around or overdo it. He’s also had to endure three major operations; his first open heart surgery was at just 4 days old. For the family, this has meant lots of hospital stays and the challenge of finding things they can all do together as a family.
It’s only thanks to your support that we can be here for families like Alfie’s, so they don’t have to go through this alone.
